二戰期間，德國法西斯在波蘭和德國等地設立集中營，殺害大批政治犯、戰俘、猶太人等。1940
年建立，主要關波蘭和德國的猶太人。納粹在此建立大規模綜合性滅絕設施，包括毒氣殺人的“
浴室”，儲放屍體的屍窖以及焚屍爐等，用以消滅猶太人。納粹還挑選犯人進行醫學試驗，如試
驗便捷絕育方法，對孿生子女進行活體解剖等。在集中營內約有400萬人慘遭殺戮。內設傷寒和
病毒研究所，醫生利用犯人試驗病毒的傳染和疫苗效果，許多犯人死于醫學試驗。二戰期間，德
國納粹分子為鎮壓異己和推行種族主義，在國內和被佔領國建立眾多集中營。集中營也稱“死亡
營”，通常設有大規模屠殺和進行人體試驗的毒氣室、屍體解剖室和焚屍爐。二戰期間，納粹集
中營奪走了數百萬人的生命，成為人類歷史上最黑暗的一頁。
